San Francisco Half Marathon 2015
San Francisco half marathon is a great race. There are 2 courses at San Francisco.
The 1st half is more scenery run, and more hills than 2nd half, but definitely recommended. On the 1st half, you get to run on Golden Gate Bridge. The ocean view is spectacular after the bridge. The fog on the Golden gate bridge is even nice on your face. There is a really tough uphill around the midpoint, but it is worth the try. The goal for the 1st run is Golden Gate Park.
On the race, taking the transportation is recommended as a parking will be an issue. From the closest BART station, you can easily walk to the start line, or there should be a shuttle bus from your local city in Bay area. The 1st run starts around 6 am. 2nd half starts around 9 am.
Shuttle buses run from the finish line to the start line, so it is possible to enjoy the run event at ferry building areas with 2nd half groups.
The race is packed with the runner from all over the U.S and after the run event is really fun. It is very exciting marathon that you should definitely try.
